CRITICAL ECOLOGIES

CRITICAL ECOLOGIES features contributions that investigate the occurrence, value, and challenges of diversity in human socio-cultural ecologies as well as means and possibilities of its creation, translation/de-coding, understanding, and promotion.

We strongly believe that the arts/design/creative practice have a crucial role to play in forging critical ecologies. We are also convinced that artists/designers/educators have a responsibility to raise questions and to worry about how we live in and on our planet. Contributions to CRITICAL ECOLOGIES explore and open up new understandings of our place within nature through the arts.
